Our next IRL Project

Lately Bat and I have been going through our pyromaniac phase of our life, and we have been experimenting with many sorts of explosives, such as the sparkler fountains/bombs. So far all of our projects have been successful and we are looking for a new project, finally we have decided what we should do... 'Ring pull Smoke Grenades', yes that is right ring pull smoke grenades, they are completely safe and are very interesting. They are easy to make and seem like a great project, so i will run you through the process of making one.

Colored Smoke:
Ingredients:
1. Potassium Nitrate (Salt Peter found in garden shops)
2. Sugar (Found everywhere)
3. Baking Soda (Found everywhere)
4. Organic Powder Dye (Found in hobby shops)

Method:
1. Mix Potassium Nitrate and Sugar (60g Potassium Nitrate to 40g Sugar).
2. Put on low heat and stir.
3. Sugar will start to Caramelize.
4. Keep stirring till it looks like Peanut Butter (DO NOT EAT!).
5. Add 1 Tbs of Baking Soda.
6. Add 3 heaped Tbs of Organic Powder Dye. (orange or blue works best)

Ring Pull/Grenade:
Items/Materials:
1. 1 full packet of matches.
2. 1 straw.
3. 2 strikers.
4. Several tissues.
5. 1 paper clip.
6. 1 rubber band.
7. 1-2 rolls of Electrical/duct tape
8. 1 Smoke Mixture (read guide for colored smoke above).
9. 1 empty toilet paper roll.

Method:
1. Fill a drinking straw with match heads.
2. Secure ends of straw with tissue.
3. Tape matches around the edges of the straw.
4. Cut off the strikers from the matches packet.
5. Bend open a paper clip, and form a circular shape.
6. Secure ring to strikers.
7. And attach to match fuse (made earlier).
8. Tie on a rubber band tightly.
9. Your fuse is ready.
10. Insert fuse into center of smoke mixture (guide to make colored smoke mixture is above).
11. Place into a toilet roll.
12. Pad the inside of tube with tissues, and wrap with tape (this will protect you from the heat).
13. Once it is ready, pull the ring quickly (make sure you are outdoors in an open area).
14. Perfect for paint ball, or even emergency situations.
