This time, I have a guide about Devious Minds!
Requirements: 65 Smithing, 50 Fletching, 50 Runecrafting. The required quests are: Troll Stronghold, Wanted!, Doric's Quest and the miniquest of the Zamorak mage (abyss).
Start Point: 'Monk' near the temple on the River Salve, west of Canifis.
Needed Items:Mithril 2-hand sword, Large essence pouch and a bowstring. The pouch is obtained by killing creatures in the Abyss or by buying it in the Runecrafting guild.
Optional:Falador and Varrock teleport runes/tablets, a hatchet/tinerbox/pickaxe.
Getting started.Talk to the monk, who can be found at the temple on the River Salve, just west of Canifis.
The bow-sword.He wants you to make him a special weapon. To do so, go to Doric's house, which can be found just north of Falador and south of Goblin village. Once there, use a mithril 2H sword with the whetstone, which can be found in doric's house.
If you did this right, you'll get a thin blade. Use a bowstring with it to obtain a bow-sword. Nice thing, huh? Unfortunately, it can't be wielded..
The special gift.Return the bow-sword to the monk. He'll gratefully accepts it, although he has another favour you need to do (someone noticed the monk looks like Lucien in the Temple of Ikov quest?). You have to smuggle an orb onto Entrana. Use the orb with your large pouch to conceal it. Head for Entrana... no don't. Unfortunately you can't bring pouches to Entrana. There is only one solution: the Law rift. The Law rift is accessed through the Abyss. To reach it, head to the monk of Zammorak, who can be found in the Wilderness at the end of the River Lum. Put all your clothes in bank before you head here!! Also, be aware of revenants that may roam around this area. Right-click the monk to be teleported into the Abyss. Once inside, you get skulled and attacked by the abyssal creatures. To reach the inner part of the Abyss, one of these five things must be done:
-You'll see eyes in the ground next to the inner wall. These can be distracted using your thieving skill, bringing you to the inner lair.
-There is an agility gap which you can squeeze through to reach the inner part.
-You can burn a boil using your tinderbox.
-A bunch of rocks can be found. These are mineable with your pickaxe and give you acces to the inner part.
-The last thing is you can use your hatchet to cut some tendrils, which can be found against the wall.
Once inside the inner part enter the Law rift and you'll be at the Law altar. Go through the portal and ta-da! You smuggled the orb onto Entrana.
Head to the church and place the concealed orb onto the altar. A cutscene will commence.
The orb was a teleport object! The monks are killed and the relic is stolen. Can it get any worse? Luckily this time not. After commiting you placed the orb there, the high priest is happy that you were honest.
The high priest requests you to see the person from who you got the orb. Head to the monk to found out he died.
Finishing the quest.Return to the high priest and tell him the news. The high priest suggests you go talk to sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador. Teleport there and walk to Falador park to find him sitting on a bench. Apparently he knows what happened, but you shouldn't worry: You finished the quest.
