Barrows guide, for lvl 80-136

Requirements:
Defence 65
Prayer 43 (If lower then 71 make sure you're on regular prayers)
Attack 70 (Attack 60 can do but 70 is recommended)
Ranged 70 (Ranged 60 can do but 70 is recommended)
Magic 70
Done quest 'Priest in Peril'
Done quest 'In Aid of the Myraque' is recommended
Done quest 'Desert Treasure' and having 50 construction with a Canifis teleport in your house is recommended
45 Construction and having an oak altar in your house is recommended




Getting started:

Inventory
This is the setup Id advise for everyone until combat 115


- Dragon dagger (P++)
- Spade
- Black salamander (Red salamander for noobs without 70 range or attack, Im one of them)
- About 10 prayer potions (For multiple rounds)
- A restore potion
- Some stat boosting potions for 90- (Combat potion and super defence potion)
- One space free to be able to wear the salamander
- Rest food, Monkfish+ recommended


This is the setup Id advise for all 115+


- Dragon dagger (P++)
- Spade
- Black salamander
- One space free to be able to wear the salamander
- Rest food, Monkfish+ recommended

Gear
This or better: (always use melee gear, except when ur a pure)



How to get there?


Teleport:
- Use Canifis teleport from your house
- For those who havent got a Canifis portal, walk from GE with a Varrock teleport spell
- For those who are too poor forrunes or haven't got 25 magic use Lumbridge home teleport and walk from there


Walk to Temple Trekking
Tell the mage you want to bring her

Use path 1


Walk from Burgh de Rott to Barrows




Fighting the brothers:

This is an image of the location of all of the barrows brothers
Use a spade to dig into their grave
I always do it this order: Ahrim, Karil, Guthan, Dharok, Verac, Torag
But people tend to say this is the best: Dharok, Ahrim, Verac, Karil, Torag, Guthan

Here you find a grave
Open it and fight the brother


Use salamander on Dharok, Guthan, Toraq and Verac
Use melee on Ahrim and Karil

For level 85-
Pray everyone

For level 85-99
Pray everyone except Verac

For level 100-110
Pray everyone except Verac and Guthan

For level 110-115
Pray Dharok and Ahrim

For level 115+
Don't pray


The tunnel:
In one of the graves, instead of a brother popping out, you'll find a hidden tunnel
Don't enter this until you've killed all other brothers

After you've killed all brothers go in here.
You're prayer will be drained to 0


Now enter some doors until you can come to the middle room,
Some doors won't be enterable.
(NOTE: Remember which room contained the rope, since you got to use it to get out)

Possibly, the last brother will appear when you open one of the doors
Then you have to kill him


The door which leads you to the middle room needs a puzzle to be solved to open it


Go to the chest,
If you haven't met the sixth brother yet, he will appear when you open the chest
Kill him
Now loot the chest


And you're done


Footnotes:

NOTE: Sometimes when you do temple trekking you will encounter ghasts. These cannot be attacked but will spoil your food when they attack you.
NOTE2: I tend to call Torag Toraq sometimes, if you spot one, please tell me and I will change it
NOTE3: Prayer will be drained by 10 every ±20 seconds when you are standing in a tomb.
NOTE4: Although prayer is drained to 0 when the tunnel is entered it is still possible to pray there, when you use prayer pots, but like in tombes, prayer is drained every ±20 seconds, this time by 15
NOTE5: The NPCs in the tomb are agressive, and if you attend the door puzzle while being attacked by one it will be closed down. Luckily the NPCs won't START to attack you if you attend the puzzle

L0L! nice guide but 115+ don't pray?! bullshit! 115+ atleast pray to Dharok even if they are using vengeance, has hit him..

Dharok can 1 hit K0 anyone, even tanked... my advice: ALWAYS PRAY FOR DHAROK NO MATTER WHAT LEVEL...
Once your 94 mage get vengeance, pray melee untill dharok is at about 1/3 hp, and then take off you prayer, and wait for Dharok to hit you, as soon as he hits you put your prayer back on and finish him off if the vengeance did not already kill him... Thats wat i do when people Venge me

other then my diferent opinion about Dharok and Praying, very nice guide.. i'll use it lots (seeing as my memory is hell crap and i always forget wat to bring to barrows )

okies okies, just some more stuff (going thru checking it all now) the map is a bit confusing for anyone who probably hasn't done Barrows before, maybe clear the lines going from lumbridge and varrock? keep the writing there but just remove the lines.. and also another thing that would be nice.. to get people interested.. lol, would be the possible rewards, (mainly barrows, but the runes aswell) otherwise the people that havn't actually been to barrows before might not think its worth doing..

Anyways, i'll try to stop posting lots of comments like this now
(if you want you can delete most of these posts once you have taken note of them.. if u can if u can't PM me and i will sure do it )

Btw, if you didn't know this, i noticed when u were writing varrock and lumbridge, and canifis and stuff, that u had it in the white boxes and i just wasn't sure if you knew wat i am just about to try and teach you all

When in paint, if you have a picture or a background and try to insert word art in, it will usually automatically come up with a white box around it (UGLY) ... soooo, there is a way the fix this...
When you have selected word art and typed in what you want to type in, simply select the bottom picture of the 2 pictures on the side bar, just below all of the paint tools... heres a picture of what i mean...
